Beginning the Birthday Tour!
Today’s tour kicks off with two groups of friends under the watchful eye of the USFS. A special start with the added joy of it being my birthday! The weather is on our side with excellent visibility, promising a day full of exploring Laughton Glacier.
Starting the Hike with Perfect Conditions
The hike begins at the trailhead, with scattered clouds offering a picturesque backdrop. Temperature is moderate at 15.9°C, ideal for a day of outdoor adventure. The Forest Service is here to observe, adding a sense of occasion to the start of our hike.
Accessing the Glacier
Our group reaches a pivotal point of the tour as we gain access to the magnificent glacier. The landscape opens up to the raw, icy beauty of the Laughton Glacier, providing an unforgettable moment for everyone involved.
Concluding the Glacier Expedition
Our expedition wraps up with a successful and rewarding exploration of Laughton Glacier. The diverse terrain we trekked today showcased the grandeur of Alaska’s natural world, ensuring everyone leaves with lasting memories.
