Embarking on the Laughton Glacier Adventure
The day began as our eager groups assembled at the trailhead to start an unforgettable exploration of the majestic Laughton Glacier. Spirits were high and the weather promised a perfect blend for photography and discovery.

At the start point, the temperature was a cool 15.1°C with high humidity at 93.4%. Scattered clouds painted the sky as we made our initial footfall on the trail.
Commencing the Laughton Glacier Hike
Our journey commenced with two groups: adventurers from North Georgia and sunseekers from Phoenix. Spirits soared with every step taken towards the glacial spectacle ahead.
Scenic Views at Stonehenge
Our first notable stop offered a picturesque scene reminiscent of Stonehenge. With temperatures at a pleasant 14.7°C and gentle winds, it became an ideal moment for capturing memories.
Weather at the Glacier Toe
Upon reaching the glacier’s toe, scattered clouds and excellent visibility provided a breathtaking view. The cool 12.9°C air refreshed us as we stood at the cusp of ice and rock.
Lunchtime on the Medial Moraine
Amidst the serene landscape, we paused for a well-deserved lunch atop the medial moraine. The surrounding beauty made for a meal with a view, etching lasting impressions on all present.
